What happens if you set year 9999-10000 in Windows 10 (21H2)?
One of the several time formatting and storage bugs is the year 10000 bug. You might be familiar with several videos demonstrating the effects of the #Y10K bug in Windows 2000 or XP (including Ray Mai’s video in the Japanese-language version of Windows XP, which is iconic). But in this video, I’m demonstrating it in Windows 10 version 21H2, which is the latest Windows 10 release as of the publishing of this video.

Command lines for the “Edit Boot Options” screen at boot:
– Enable for every boot: bcdedit/set optionsedit yes
– Disable for every boot: bcdedit/set optionsedit no
