In This Video We Are Looking At Loc-OS Linux is a GNU/Linux distribution aimed at low-resource computers.
Debian 11 base with LXDE desktop and free systemd. It is meant to be light and complete at the same time.
In addition to the classic deb packages for Debian, Loc-OS has its own package called “LPKG”.
Many people still have some low-resource PCs and with Loc-Os Linux you can give it another chance before it becomes electronic garbage.

The main characteristics are the following:
Following the famous Unix philosophy “Each program must do only one job and must do it well”, Loc-OS uses sysvinit instead of the traditional systemd.
Basically it is based on Debian 11 Bullseye, which gives it great hardware compatibility, .deb packages, updates and much more.
Loc-OS features LXDE, which is an extremely lightweight, full-fledged GTK desktop. Easy to use and very customizable.
Works on old PC’s
There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions, making it possible to give a second life to old computers with single-core processors (such as the Pentium 4) and 512MB of RAM (although at least 1GB of RAM is ideal).
