Dual booting windows 10 or 11 and ubuntu helps to use both operating systems at the same time. When you turn on your Pc it will ask you to boot in to window 10 or 11 or ubuntu. This way you can run both operating systems on the same computer hassle free.
In this tutorial I will be showing how to install windows 10 alongside on ubuntu 21.04. This video follows the UEFI – GPT method. Meaning, all the modern computer users can use this guide to dual boot their PC with windows 10 after ubuntu linux 21.04 LTS. Since this is a scratch tutorial t’s always recommended to back up any important Data from your drives just to be on a safer side. Because we are going to format everything on the drive and start installing both operating systems from scratch. Apart from that as long as you follow this guide, you will be able to successfully able to dual boot ubuntu 21.04 and windows 10 on your PC or laptop.
Note – For Demonstration purposes I have used windows 10 ISO in the video to dual boot with ubuntu. You can use windows 11 instead of windows 10 if in case you want to, keep in mind windows 11 needs some system requirements like UEFI Firmware , Secure boot, TPM 2.0 & more. Once your system is compatible with Windows 11, you can use windows 11 iso to dual boot with ubuntu linux.
