How to Be a Network Engineer in a Programmable Age
Automation, programmability, NetDevOps… doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s here and it is changing network engineers and network engineering. But what exactly is it? Where did it come from? And can it go back there? No, it probably can’t, but that doesn’t mean the sky has fallen on network engineering. In this session we’ll see how programmability is just another phase in the evolution of networking and explore how it changes the skills we need, teams we’re now a part of, and types of work we do.
