GSM Display | SMS based Moving LED Display | P10 Board with GSM Modem | Remote Operated LED Board
This is GSM based Moving LED Display. It is designed using P10 LED Board. You can operate it remotely, means you can send SMS to this display , then this display starts scrolling that message which you have sent.
We have make a specific format for that.
Format is
*PageSpeedFuctionFontMessage#
Example: *0105n3TheTiaraTech Show Welcomes You#
01 is page number(You can feed up to 10 Pages)
05 is Scrolling Speed(01 to 10)
n is normal function( other functions are down, up, blink, pause etc)
3 is font number( It is for English Font)
and Then message any message you want to display on it.
Now a days P10 Board is very popular to make moving LED display or scrolling Display. It is 16×32 LED matrix structure in a single board. You can make any length of the display by combining it. It’s connection is very simple, just connect every board in series. To operate or configure the scrolling message you require one COM port. Driver board is also available. Driver board is designed using Microcontroller. There is provision of Serial Port. You can write up to 10 pages in it. You can also change the running speed of the message. Animated functions also provided in it like Blink, Pause, Move UP, Move Down etc. This type of display is very useful for Industries, School, Colleges, Banks, Railway station, Shops etc, to convey any message, notice or advertisement.
By using GSM modem in it, you can access this display remotely.
Microcontroller based driver card is required to make full LED Display or Clock.
It is Operated at 5 volt 40 Amp SMPS supply. Different colors are also available in P10 Board. Note that In this project GSM Modem is also used. GSM modem operates at 12 Volt DC Supply.
