Windows 10 – Missing Update Service Solution
We have been getting a lot of reports of people having the windows update service missing. This video shows you how to restore (fix) the service in the list and also to restore it’s registry data.
It also shows how to use a repair install to fix it too.
The service is wuauserv.
And the command to restore it is: sc create wuauserv DisplayName= « Windows Update » binpath= « C:WINDOWSsystem32svchost.exe -k netsvcs -p » Start= delayed-auto depend= RpcSs
