OSI layers in a computer network, OSI Model, OSI reference model or open system interconnection model or networking model including Application Layer, Presentation Layer, Session Layer, Transport Layer, Network Layer, Data Link Layer and Physical layer.

Open System Interconnection Model | Open Systems Interconnection Layer:-
The Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model describes seven layers that computer systems use to communicate over a network.

7.A:- Application Layer
6.P:- Presentation Layer
5.S:- Session Layer
4.T:- Transport Layer
3.N:- Network Layer
2.D:- Data Link Layer
1.P:- Physical Layer

7. Application Layer:-

This layer is used by end-user software such as web browsers and email clients.
It provides protocols that allow software to send and receive information and present meaningful data to users.

Examples:-
HTTP, FTP, DNS and SMTP etc.

6.:- Presentation Layer:-
This layer prepared data for the application layer and defines how two devices should encode, encrypt, and compress data so it is received correctly on the other side end.
Examples:-
Encryption, GIF & JPEG, EBCDIC, and ASCII etc.

5.:- Session Layer
The Main Function of Session Layer is to control “Sessions” which are logical connected between Network Devices.

4.:- Transport Layer:-
It Provides a data transport service that shields the upper layers from transport implementation issues such a reliability of connection
3.:- Network Layer
The Network layer sends packet from source network to destination network.
2.:- Data Link Layer:-
This layer is responsible for providing reliable transmit of data across a physical link.
1.:- Physical Layer:-
This layer is concerned with the interface to the transmission medium.
It defines the connector, the electrical cable or wireless technology connecting the devices, and is responsible for transmission of the raw data
