Ubuntu User Attempts to Install Arch Linux
Having used Ubuntu and Manjaro as a daily driver for over three months, I became very intrigued with the idea of assembling your own operating system from scratch.
Arch is a very minimalistic Linux distro and comes with very few things preinstalled, so you have to do everything yourself. I think it is a great way to better understand the elements a working Linux environment needs and how to configure them.
The next step will be to set up the display server and GNOME desktop environment. I’m excited!
