System76's new mechanical keyboard for Linux #SHORTS
System76 has announced their new Launch lite Keyboard, a smaller variant of the full size one they already have for sale.
While it’s just more compact, it doesn’t sacrifice any of the features that people seem to really enjoy on the bigger one, like a configuration utility to remap the keys, and save them onto the board itself, open source firmware, multiple cables in the box to ensure you can plug it into anything, good quality mechanical switches, a small stand to raise it, or the ability to swap keys super easily.
It should be out tomorrow, and while we don’t know the price just yet, I’d expect it to be in the 200 dollars range, lower than the full size Launch that costs 285 dollars. And now, to wait for these keyboards to come to Europe. Whenever you’re ready, System76.
