This is a short apples-to-apples comparison of three common compact OTA antennas: a generic « flat » antenna from Amazon, an Antennas Direct 2Max, and Televes DiNova Boss Mix. The flat antenna allowed our Sony test TV to receive just 49 channels, while the 2Max picked up 65, and the Televes, with a built-in intelligent pre-amp, tuned an impressive 86 channels.
