A brief history of the vintage Macintosh IIvi, followed by the steps taken to repair some battery leak damage.
A very common problem with vintage Macs, the 3.6V 1/2AA lithium battery can leak when it gets old. People put their old Macs into storage, then pull them out only to discover catastrophic damage to the computer’s motherboard. In this example, the computer was repairable.
