Repaired Macintosh LC475 motherboard. Issue was cap corrosion destroying vias near the power conn.
In addition to a Macintosh Classic motherboard, JaJan also sent me an LC475 motherboard. After fixing the alignment of the RAM chips which were curiously out of alignment, I got the sad Mac chime. Closer inspection showed several bad vias located near the caps close to the power connector. After fixing these (not a super easy job given the tiny vias on this board), everything tested great!
