Real time vehicle tracking system using GPS GSM and google maps PART-2

In this project a microcontroller is used for interfacing to various hardware peripherals. The current design is an embedded application, which will continuously monitor a moving Vehicle and display the position and distance on display board. For doing so a microcontroller is interfaced serially to GPS Receiver. The GPS modem will continuously give the data i.e. the latitude and longitude indicating the position of the vehicle and these data is send to the Display board via GSM. These data is simultaneously send to a server which is connected to Google Map. So we get the current position of the bus on google map we put a web cam in front of the monitor of the server CPU and start live streaming of the map. so now everyone can be see the position of the bus on internet and utilize their time. we also implemented a person counter concept in the Bus. The occupancy of the bus also be shown in google map. there is an emergency button in the bus by pressing that button the position of the bus is send to police or other help services for quick help.
