What is the future of a SysAdmin/Network Engineers?
Hi Jimmy,
I’m in a situation where I just lost my job. I was working as a SysAdmin, but it all changed when my boss hired this automation python expert. He is basically the « cause » of me loosing my job.
I don’t blame anyone. What I used to do in 5 hours, his python script does it in 15 minutes.
My question to you is – is the future of SysAdmins dead? Will automated script eventually replace all SysAdmins?
The SysAdmin We Use to Know Will Die Because Now System Administrator Need to Write Scripts to Administrate the Computers So If You Still Want to Be a SysAdmin than Learn Python Programming.
Same is for Network Engineers Which We Need Less Because We are Moving into Wireless Networks.
