Poco F6 Pro Review | A Proper Pixel 8a Rival?
Reviewing Xiaomi’s Poco F6 Pro, an upper mid-range smartphone taking on the Pixel 8a with its Light Fusion camera tech, almost-flagship gaming performance and premium display. The Poco F6 Pro will be hitting the UK soon, from 499 GBP same as Google’s handset. I’ve been using it as my phone for about a week now so here’s my verdict!
Yes, in some ways the Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro is as good or better than the Pixel 8a and many other mid-range phones. That 1440p screen is beautifully sharp, with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. Gamers will enjoy blazing through Genshin Impact and other quality titles, with Xiaomi’s HyperOS gaming mode to help out.
And the Poco F6 Pro’s camera setup is also good, as long as you don’t mind boosted photos with richer tones. You don’t get a telephoto lens, but that quibble aside, you’ll capture good looking pics and up to 8K video.
