OSI model | Computer Networking Basic Tutorial
Seven layers are used by computer systems to communicate with one another through a network, according to the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) concept. All major computer and telecommunications firms adopted it as the first industry standard for network communications in the early 1980s.
OSI was first presented in 1983 by executives from the biggest computer and telecom firms, and it was accepted as an international standard in 1984 by ISO.
