My Macintosh IIsi's Hard Drive Failed
Yes, unfortunately my Macintosh IIsi’s HDD died after only 3 weeks or so of owning the machine… This is a common failure with the Quantum ProDrives and GoDrives, where the rubber stopper that keeps the heads from slamming against the spindle melts and turns into goo, and then is smeared all over the platter by the actuator.
