Welcome into the LoveTech Time Machine, Episode 1: The Macintosh 512ke from 1986! The Macintosh 512ke was Apple’s 14th personal computer that they brought to market in 1986. Marketed mainly for business users, it sported a Motorola 68000 processor, 512 Kb of RAM, and a 9” CRT screen. It was definitely a revolutionary computer for its day, coming in at a starting price of $2,000.
In this video we’ll step into the time machine back to 1986 and talk about the specs of the Macintosh 512ke, show you some of the applications it could run, tour the user interface, and look at some of the files that I created on it when I was a kid. And of course, a little bit of excitement at the end 🔥🔥🔥
