Macintosh SE PSU testing #TooLongForAShort
This video was born as a short but I didn’t want to cram it in 60 seconds so I’m releasing it in a normal video format!
Just to quickly show how I tested my Macintosh SE (SE/30 are identical) power supply using some loads. With no load the PSU will output incorrect voltages.
Power supply shown here is a Sony CR-44, P/N 699-5047. The ASTEC AA13800 should be equivalent with same pinout and currents but I haven’t tested that.
The CR-44 specifications are as follows:
+5V – 6A max
+12V_V – 1.25A max
+12V_D – 2.1A max
-12V – 0.5A max
