Macintosh SE/30 – Micron Xceed Grayscale Kit
My Apple Macintosh SE/30 with installed Micron Xceed Grayscale Kit.
It consists of the Micron MacroColor 30 card, the Micron Technology neckboard for the CRT (to give us the ability to see real gray scales) and the necessary wiring harness.
Just a quick overview/demonstration that show us the beauty of real 256 gray « colors » 😀
Sadly my MacroColor 30 card may have some issues with it’s VRAM :/ it sometimes has a little bit of fragments/artifacts/lines on the screen ..but overall way more beautiful to see things in « more color scales » 😉

Mein Apple Macintosh SE/30 mit eingebauten Micron Xceed Grayscale Kit. Das Kit besteht aus der Micron Color 30 Karte, dem Micron Technology Neckboard für die Bildröhre (was uns hier die Graustufen ermöglicht) und den notwendigen Kabelbaum.
Ein kurzes Video um zu demonstrieren, was mit dieser Karte/Kit möglich ist.
Leider hat die MacrColor 30 Karte wohl ein paar VRAM Fehler – es erscheinen immer wieder mal Fragmente bzw. Artefakte/Linien auf dem Bildschirm.
