Macintosh SE/30 boot for 30th anniversary
Here’s my Mac SE/30 celebrating the model’s 30th anniversary by booting up and doing a little light word processing.
The SE/30 was an amazing machine in 1989: its 16MHz 68030 processor, up to 128MB RAM and SCSI interface gave it workstation-class performance in a tiny desktop package. This particular example doesn’t have the hard drive set up yet which is why it’s booting from floppy.
