Macintosh PowerBook 140 LCD Repair
In this video, I go over the process of re-capping the LCD panel in a Macintosh PowerBook 140. This repair is definitely not the easiest thing to do, but is definitely worth it, as it completely repaired the contrast issue with the panel. After the repair, the panel is much more crisp and sharp than it was previously, and the contrast control now works exactly as it should. The capacitors I used are as follows:
3.3 uF 50V Ceramic (C3225X7R1H335K250AB) x9
100 uF 10V Electrolytic (EEA-GA1A101) x1
22 uF 35V Electrolytic (EEA-GA1V220) x1
