Is the J-Pole the ULTIMATE 10 meter band vertical antenna?
I was looking for a powerhouse antenna for the ARRL 10 meter contest. Will the J-Pole vertical antenna pull in the DX? Build one along with me and find out.

Parts list
17′ – 14 gauge stranded wire
7′ 10″ – 450 Ohm Windows Line
SO-239 Chassis Connector -or-
Scrap piece of coax with PL-259 installed
Want to build this for the CB or 11 meter band? Add 3 inches to the window line length (8′ 1″) and 6 inches (17′ 6″) to stranded wire. Follow the same construction steps and keep the feed point at 6 inches from the base. This will drop the frequency down to 27 MHz.
