IPv6 Routing Protocols Introduction
Routing is important for every network. If yours is is medium or large, you are probably using one of the common and already existing routing protocols.
All of them are also available for IPv6, but in an updated form. Let me explain what’s new and what stayed the same with each of them.
We will not go into much detail but cover the basics of all common routing protocols, so you now where to look next, when you need it. We will be covering:
-RIPng
-OSPFv3
-EIGRP for IPv6
-BGP
-IS-IS
