Installing Arch Linux is Easy and Here's the Proof!
Installing Arch Linux is not difficult… at least not anymore thanks to the helpful archinstall script.
It is still command line based and it may not be as easy as installing Ubuntu or Mint but the script makes things a lot easier with its guided installation even if it is in the command line.
Since you must connect to the internet for installing arch, things will be a lot easier if you have the wired, ethernet network.
Otherwise, the only ‘difficult’ part is when you have to connect to the wifi.
The wicd command line tool for connecting to wireless network is not as straightforward and you may need some reference for the commands.
Here are the commands:
Enter the interface: iwctl
List all your wireless interfaces: device list
Select the wireless interface, scan for available network: station wlan0 scan
See the connections available: station wlan0 get-networks
Connect to your target Wi-Fi: station wlan0 connect « Name of Network/WiFi »
Enter the password and enter exit to exit the wifi setup tool.
