having your own industrial control system lab is a good idea if you want to learn PLC programming and HMI configuration etc. and maybe a few cybersecurity testing and analysis. but you will end up with several challenges including high HW and SW cost and other complication, what would you need to build a basic lab and how can you reduce cost as much as possible?
what about end-users, A few basic recommendations on the major components need to be considered to build an end-user lab.

two corrections in the video,
– what I meant by college and university (training) is an ICS Course as a part of the curriculum, not a normal training as we understand it.
– there is a difference between Compatibility Test and Proof of Concept, they are not the same.
