In macOS Recovery, select « Disk Utility » and click « Continue ».
In Disk Utility, select your internal hard drive (usually named « Macintosh HD » or similar) from the list on the left.
Click on the « Erase » tab.
Choose a name for your disk (you can keep the default name « Macintosh HD » if you want).
Select the format (usually APFS for SSDs, or Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for older drives).
Click « Erase » and confirm.
Reinstall macOS:
Close Disk Utility to go back to the main macOS Recovery screen.
Select « Reinstall macOS » and click « Continue ».
Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your disk and complete the installation process.
