How To Install Sketchup 2018, Layout & Style Builder in Linux (Works 100%)
In today’s video, we are going show you how to install Sketchup 2018 with Layout and Style Builder works perfectly in Linux.
Here’s the Process:
1. Download Sketchup 2018 Installer : https://www.sketchup3d.de/download/center/#199-180-version-2018
2. Install the latest Wine : https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu, Just follow the instruction like in this video
3. Install Winetricks : https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks, Follow the instruction and follow the video
4. Install the sketchup dependencies by copy & paste this command in terminal (Follow the video):
winetricks corefonts tahoma dotnet452 gdiplus msftedit riched20 riched30 richtx32 vcrun2005 vcrun2013 vcrun2019 vcrun6 vcrun6sp6
5. Run « wine uninstaller » to check whether dependencies installed correctly
6. Run « winecfg » then add 2 new libraries (follow the video):
– ctl3d32
– mfc140u
7. Install your sketchup installer by double-clicking the « .exe » file
8. Open Sketchup 2018
9. Open Layout
10. Open Style Builder
