How to Find Your WiFi Password Windows 10 | Free and Easy (Tutorial)
In today’s video I’m going to show you how to find your WiFi password for the wireless network you’re connected to in Windows.
Finding out your WiFi password can be extremely useful, especially if you’re already connected to your home or business’s WiFi and you need to share it with a guest, or connect another device, and you’re unsure on what the password is.
*To get started:*
1. Right click on the WiFi symbol on the bottom right of the start bar, and click on the “Open Network & Internet Settings” option.
2. A Windows settings dialog window will now open, from here you can see that we’re connected to the internet, and you can see the name of the network we’re connected to.
3. Now scroll down to the bottom of this window and click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option.
4. The “Network and Sharing Center” dialog window will now open. From here, click on the WiFi connection that you’re connected to next to the “Connections” field.
5. A WiFi status dialog window will now open up, from here you can see information about your WiFi connection, including its speed, signal quality, and other information.
6. To obtain your WiFi password, click on the “Wireless Properties” button, a “Wireless Network Properties” dialog window will now open. Click on the “Security” tab.
7. Your WiFi password will be displayed in the “Network security key” field. Click on the “Show characters” checkbox to reveal the password in plain text.
