What they are looking for is a hands-on Senior Network Engineer that will focus on implementing their SD-WAN network (Silver Peak). The Role:
The position will focus on leading the implementation of the company’s Silver Peak SD-WAN project, with a focus on their data centers. This will be the go-to person in the company for the SD-WAN project. This individual will help define the overall implementation strategy, and will have resources assigned to assist and support the overall project. The good news is that there is a well defined standard framework and architecture already in place.
Requirements:
Must have 10+ years experience in corporate IT network engineer.
The ideal candidate will be a CCNP or CCIE level engineer with experience in SD-WAN (Silver Peak), routing & switching, Cisco ISE, Nexus 9k, ASR, IP schema management
Experience in any of the following will be a plus: Meraki, Azure networking, automation (e.g., Ansible, Python)
Must have experience working in large and complex networking environments, and have strong trouble shooting skills.
Certifications preferred: Cisco CCNP or CCIE
Must have great people skills (e.g., teamwork, collaborative, self-driven)
Must be able to travel to data centers a couple of times a year (low travel)
Must already be authorized to work in the US.
