The Role:
The position will focus on pre-sales engineering providing solution design expertise. This individual must possess strong interpersonal skills. The person in this role will have a direct impact on the direction and development of new offerings for the Security Practice. Our client is looking for an individual with a solid understanding of Cisco network security solutions and Palo Alto solutions. Experience in other areas like Collaboration and/or Data Center solution will be a plus.
Lead client engagements and initiatives to drive growth of the security practice.
Develop strategies and tactics for engaging and winning new clients
Pre-sales engineering support and solution design for client opportunities.
Requirements:
Must have 4+ years’ experience in sales engineering of networking and security solutions for mid to large enterprise companies
Must be able to lead pre-sales activities for complex security related opportunities.
Must have extensive experience in Cisco Security Solutions; Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, StealthWatch, Firepower, Meraki, cloudlock, AMP for endpoints. Also must have experience in Palo Alto
Experience in Advanced Threat Protection, Threat Prevention, Security Analytics, on-prem and cloud based security architectures, and knowledge of common vulnerabilities, exploits, hacker methodologies, and related tools used is a plus. Also experience in assessments including vulnerability scans, policy and procedure reviews, and infrastructure reviews is a plus.
Experience in Cisco Data Center and/or UC solutions is also a plus.
Certifications are a plus, but not required (CCNP, CISSP, CISA, CISM).
