Phone Call : plug a SIM card in switch when you call it by your phone, both of these 2 SIM cards are no need to pay any charge;This device can store 10 phone numbers, all phone numbers can control it.
SMS : you can send SMS ( ON or OFF, should be capital letters ) to it to control it will return a SMS feedback to notice you the operation has been done. This will ask for SMS sending cost.
Software : you can set up any time ON/OFF and just simple ON/OFF when you want to do that,when you press the ON/OFF button to make it ON or OFF, it will ask for cost the same as SMS operation.it can save the time to write SMS.
