This video explains the logical channels in the GSM (Global System For Mobile) and their usage. The defintion of logical channels and details of traffic channels has been discussed in the previous video. Here, we explain the main type of the control chanels like Broadcast channels (BCHs), Common Control Channels, and Dedicated Control Channels (DCCH). Then we discuss the types of the Broadcast control channels like SCH, FCCH and BCCH. Then we discuss the dedicated control channels (DCCHs) and their types like SDCCH, SACCH and FACH. The Common Control Channels (CCHs) and their types like RACH, PCH and AGCH. This is a part of the free GSM training.
