Copying files from my Macintosh SE to new computers/phones
This looks really involved, but once set up, I can just drag files from the SE to the IIvx’s shared folder and download from new computers/phones, it takes seconds. Using serial port Appleshare, then using Apple web sharing and a Nubus ethernet card for easy access from new Macs, PCs and phones. Yes, floppy drives exist, but these are 800k and HFS formatted, so new computers can’t read them. Also, when I make audio files, they are frequently larger than 800k.
Yes, I would like an SE PDS or SCSI ethernet card, but not at current prices, lol.
