IPv4 32 بٹ IP ایڈریس ہے جبکہ IPv6 128 بٹ IP ایڈریس ہے۔ IPv4 ایک عددی خطاب کا طریقہ ہے جبکہ IPv6 ایک حروف تہجی سے خطاب کرنے کا طریقہ ہے۔ IPv4 میک ایڈریس پر نقشہ بنانے کے لیے اے آر پی (ایڈریس ریزولوشن پروٹوکول) کا استعمال کرتا ہے جبکہ آئی پی وی 6 میک ایڈریس پر نقشہ بنانے کے لیے این ڈی پی (نیبر ڈسکوری پروٹوکول) استعمال کرتا ہے۔
IPv4 is 32-Bit IP address whereas IPv6 is a 128-Bit IP address. IPv4 is a numeric addressing method whereas IPv6 is an alphanumeric addressing method. … IPv4 uses ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) to map to MAC address whereas IPv6 uses NDP (Neighbour Discovery Protocol) to map to MAC address.
