Automatically laying out Visio network topology diagrams and spacing and adjusting connectors

This shows how you can layout network topology diagrams quickly and easily using Square Mile Systems’ free Visio addin which is available from:

Multiple connections between switches and patch panels and similar network devices can be easily positioned and adjusted in minutes:

– ports can be shown at each end (using specific Visio stencil) and port display turned off or on
– connectors are spaced automatically and are consistent even if you resize shapes
– moving shapes and then adjusting the connectors so that they swap to different sides is a breeze!

This can also be used with topology diagrams produced from AssetGen’s Connect product:
