Yes. For those who are in the Free Unix-like world, take pride in the superiority. Word of warning, don’t let the pride turn into arrgogance, this speech is pretty close to it you see.
Correction: Haiku is most certainly not Unix-like, When I recorded this speech I had not yet looked into Haiku, I had just heard some people calling it Unix-like. For some reason people seem to think that Haiku has anything to do with being Unix-like when it doesn’t. It has nothing to do with Unix. So I was mistaken when I included a mention of it.
3:30 also it demonstrates a different mindset. A more indpendent and « do it yourself » attitude. Many may switch for reasons such as to get freedom and privacy. Good traits in a person. The system developers really are elite. The ratio of users to developers is higher in GNU+Linux than it is on Windows.
