Antenna Arrays
Directional, high-gain antennas can be made using arrays of individual elements rather than through large horn or parabolic antennas. Individual radiating elements with controlled phase shift combine to create more gain in a desired direction. Initially arrays of dipoles, this technique matured in the slotted array antennas used in airborne radar systems, and form the conceptual foundation of the advanced AESA radars used in the latest generation of fighter jets. https://AESA.DuotechServices.com
