Icom IC7300 A to Z #41 Using an External Antenna Tuner

This time we’ll take a look at connecting an external antenna tuner to the IC-7300. We’ll also look at how the IC-7300 recognizes an external tuner. Icom doesn’t release much information about how the external tuner connector works on their radios. I have used both the LDG IT-100 and the MFJ-939 tuners with my radio. I am using use the MFJ for this demonstration.
