Microsoft Windows Tip – How to fix Windows key not working on Windows 10 and Windows 11
The Window key opens the start menu immediately without having to drag your mouse cursor over the screen to the Start button. But for some user, whenever they press the Win Key on the keyboard, it does not seem to do anything which can be quite frustrating.
Also, all shortcuts associated with Win key will not work. Like the
Win + I to open Windows Settings,
Win + R to open run dialog box,
Win + Tab to go all Desktop and
Win + D to bring up the desktop will not work.
There is an easy fix for these madness.
Hold the Fn and Win key for 5 seconds, and the let it go.
Now your Win key will start working.
