Our client has an outstanding opportunity for a pre-sales oriented sales engineer with a passion for developing Enterprise Networking solutions. Our client is a solid growing 175M IT solution provider, and this is an excellent opportunity to join in a senior and strategic « Practice Leader » like role. As Principal Sales Engineer, you’ll be be working with sales, clients, and OEM partners to develop multi-vendor solutions, shape the direction of the networking practice, and help take the practice to the next level. Client opportunities will with focus on large and complex enterprise networks… often with requirements for wireless networking, network security, and data center networking. Requirements:
Must have 4+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering experience in multi-vendor enterprise networking. Must have experience putting together Bill of Materials and Statements of Work (i.e., BOM’s and SOW’s)
Must have experience in LAN, WAN, Campus networks, wireless, switches, routers (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, MIST).
Experience in any of the following is preferred: network security, firewalls, Cisco ASA, ISE, FirePower CheckPoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet / Fortigate, data center networking, Nexus.
Must possess excellent customer facing skills and presentation skills.
Travel will be in the 10-20% range.
Certifications is a plus, but not strictly required
