Macintosh Color Classic Mystic Upgrade – Colour Classic – #MARCHintosh – Geek With Social Skills

Thanks to a viewer I was gifted a Macintosh LC 575 « Mystic » motherboard in unknown working condition for my Apple Mac Color Classic computer.

In this video I’ll be performing the LC 575 Logic Board Mystic modification for Colour Classic compatibility, replacing the Real Time Clock (RTC) battery and possibly recapping the PCB.

At some point I would like to upgrade the stock Motorola 68LC040 processor (no FPU) to a Motorola 68040 with the FPU. More power!!!
