Steve Jobs Hosts Macintosh Software Dating Game with Bill Gates – 1983
In October of 1983, Steve Jobs invited three software CEOs, including Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, to an Apple Event. He pretended to host what was titled, « The Macintosh Software Dating Game. » Jobs focuses on Gates, who praises the Macintosh, stating that it’s really new and really captures the imagination. It was the only machine he had ever seen up until that point that met that standard.
