Adding 2 new desktop environments, KDE Plasma and LXQt, the new version includes more Plasma Wayland improvements and many bug fixes with KDE Plasma 5.24.5. Based on Debian 11 Bullseye, it has all the security and stability that Debian provides. In addition to sddm, a fully customized amarok-style login manager; version with a customized Look & Feel style pack with colors, themes, and icons; LXQt 1.1.0 also offers the desktop environment option. The system configured on the 5.10.0-14 Linux kernel; It contains updated packages such as Firefox 101.0, Calamares 3.2.55. The release is available as usual with variants of XFCE, GNOME, Cinnamon, Mate and LXQt.

The main news of this release is the addition of 2 new desktops, KDE Plasma and LXQt.
KDE Plasma
Amarok Linux KDE Plasma 5.24.5 which is the latest LTS version of this Desktop and this time it has even more Plasma Wayland improvements as well as many bug fixes. From the numbering, it can be that this is the fifth maintenance update concluded of the latest and greatest series of KDE Plasma 5.24 LTS desktop environments.
This version of Amarok Linux has a stable base and with all the security that Debian provides, as it is based on Debian Bullseye 11.
In this version, we have the style pack, called Look & Feel, customized with colors, themes and icons, in addition to the sddm, which is the login manager fully customized in the Amarok style.
LXQt
The second desktop introduced to the portfolio was LXQt, in its latest version, 1.1.0. This version is very stable and easy to use, in addition to being recommended for very modest computers and/or notebooks, as its consumption is very low compared to other desktops.
installer squid
Another improvement was in Calamares (Amarok Installer), which is now possible to install the system without needing to be connected to the internet, which will make it easier for users if they do not have a good connection or are far from accessing it at the time of installation!
