World’s first 1TB SDXC memory card
Lexar has just a new SDXC memory card that packs a stunning and mind blowing 1 terabyte of storage. It’s the first 1TB SDXC card to be available on the market.
SanDisk was the first to announce a 1 TB SDXC back two years ago, but that memory card never saw the day light and still didn’t make it to the market. Lexar’s new 1TB memory card in available starting last week.

Lexar’s new memory card 1TB 633X SDXC UHS-I features a read speed of up to 95MB/s and a video recording speed class of V30.
“Almost 15 years ago, Lexar announced a 1GB SD card, and today we are excited to announce 1TB of storage capacity in the same convenient form factor, as consumer start to demand greater storage for their cameras, the combination of high speed performance with a 1TB option now offers a new solution for content creators who shoot high resolution images and 4k videos” says Joey Lopez, Senior marketing manager.

Lexar is back with this announcement to pushing forward into the future of memory cards, it was less than two years ago that the brand had been discontinued by its parent company Micron before being sold to a Chinese company in late 2017, Longsys the Chinese company with the purchase announced the return of Lexar Card in late 2018.
The new Lexar 1TB SDXC will be in a retail price of 500 US dollars, but B&H seems to have it currently listed for 400 US dollars.
