I just want an iPad mini 6 that looks like the new air model, has an A14, 5G, the new Touch ID, and 120hz.

Of COURSE there'll be another Apple Event. I think Apple has learned how to do virtual events, and seeing how thi=e timing is right, they're going to flex. Like all things, Apple doesn't do something until its just right, and right on time. Hell, last year, we got new product annoucements via Tweets/posts. Think AirPods 2. They're diversifying their announcement strategy; leveraging it on their brand recognition & popularity.
Steve was a showman; Apple gone from a company of great products to show, to a show with great products……

“A reliable leaker Tim Cook and a not so reliable leaker Phil Schiller who said AirPower was coming in 2018” made me burst out laughing! 😂😂😂😂

For sure as you said a separate event, with 3 device, a Macbook, an iMac (maybe) and a Mac Mini that is the easiest to produce. Big focus in the first 2 and a honorable mention for the last one.

Though it is not likely to happen at this event, I would love to see a re-designed iPad Mini.

Don’t think they’d refresh the cheaper MacBook Pro first with their silicon.. unless it’s some sort of underpowered silicon. 🤷‍♂️ does it seem real that they’d make a cheaper MacBook more powerful than an expensive one…? 😏

Drew the reason I haven't bought a 13" Macbook pro is simply because it looks so dated compare to the competition. These bezels are still huge . It needs to be built like the Azus zenbook for example. I don't think I am the only one who think so. I am a design dude. I never buy two product that looks the same. The apple watch for example. From series 4 to 6 it's the same watch.

Separate Event makes much more sense, although I don't wanna wait any longer, I want that macbook now xD

From a marketing standpoint I would definitely have a separate event. These online events do not cost that much money to organize so that wouldn’t have any influence.

This basically means that you are three times in the spotlight for the price of not even one regular event

I'd say apple should go with low-end – MacBook Air, Mac mini and Apple TV on A14X or equivalent. Then go with iMac. And some time at the end of next year fire main guns with totally new miniLed, multi core, Apple Silicon MacBook Pros.

I think the first two "Apple Silicon" Macs will be the MacBook Air and the 13" MacBook Pro. With very good reason: they aren't so tied to the need for x86 compatilbity. The larger MacBook Pro and the iMac with Apple Silicon may not arrive until around March 2021, when there are enough native apps, especially the professional ones, to support it.
