And all Windows users know how a computer works? Computer illiteracy is not limited to the OS, one can find computer illiterate people using Windows and Mac OS X, and some even Linux.

Or do you think, that most people being able to operate a car can also maintain it? If so, you are very optimistic, but probably also very naive (is not meant as insult).

    Have a good day.

So, when upgrading your hardware to support a more advanced OS, it's supposedly a better idea to completely replace your computer than to upgrade the one you already have? Your logic confuses me Apple!

Yep, when a Mac is outdated you can't upgrade the software, Apple wants you to buy a whole new Mac, and the software on it sucks even more.

Oh good. Glad to know a 10-year-old Mac can still run the latest Max OS. Explains how I see so many people with ancient MacBooks while PC users are always forced to have the latest hardware!

Seriously though what was Apple thinking with this commercial my MacBook barely runs Snow Leopard nevermind Sierra, while my 8-year-old desktop and laptop are running Windows 10

ok all of your comments are pissing the hell out of me! You're a Mac user or a PC user, keep it to yourself! No one gives a flying piece of crap if your Mac or PC froze. Just enjoy this video and stop arguing like little children on who's got the coolest gadget.

They are literally making fun of other computers for being upgradable.  Have fun paying $2000 for a whole new computer. every three years.

"like all other pcs i have to upgrade things like my graphics card every few years"
… yeah no, thats simply because pc users actually use their computers for things that need good hardware, the pc generally comes stock with a better graphics card than the mac will ever have. not to mention you cant upgrade the peice of shit they throw in the mac.

gg mac fanboys, you've done it again… making yourself look stupid that is.

Sometimes a Mac may need minor upgrades in order to move up to the next operating system.
