❓WHY recap the SONY PSU when you can use a modern PSU replacement? (See “MY OTHER VIDEOS” below.) Because the SONY PSU is really all you need if you have only 1 PDS card or no cards at all, and the SONY PSU is also FANLESS and complete silent. Most replacement PSUs have a fan that spins when they get warm. The SEASONIC PSU fan is not loud, especially if you have a noisy spinning platter HDD inside your Mac, but again, the SONY PSU is completely silent.
