International Cyber Security Days – 29,30 November 2021 #ICSD2021
The largest private cybersecurity company in Azerbaijan “Prosol”, will host the international event. The greatest event in the history of the country, organized by the private sector and dedicated to cybersecurity, will take place on November 29-30. The event dedicated to International Cybersecurity Day will be attended by cyber experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Israel, and other countries.
Emerging technologies is making cybercrime increasingly sophisticated and a growing concern for individuals, companies, and governments around the world, and it makes the fight against cybercrime much more complicated. By the end of 2021, cybercrime is expected to cost the world $6 trillion. A diplomatic dialogue and knowledge sharing amongst all stakeholders are required to elevate the industry’s understanding of new crimes and future threats.
In this sense, the event will provide an effective platform for the exchange of ideas and information. This will help build a consensus on how technology can be used more effectively to investigate, detect and prevent the risks posed by the ever-changing Internet environment. Ultimately, this will make an important contribution to raising awareness in the field of cyber security in Azerbaijan and building closer cooperation between the public and private sectors in the fight against this new challenge.
The event, titled “MORE POWERFUL CYBER ECOSYSTEM FOR AZERBAIJAN” will feature discussions on six different panels to achieve the above goals. The main topics of discussion at the event, which will be attended by experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Israel, will be:
1. Towards a Sustainable Cybersecurity Ecosystem: in the examples of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Israeli models
2. Defence in Depth: Secret of Successful Cyber Security Strategy
3. Minimising Cyber Threats and Risks through the Cybersecurity Architecture
4. Cyber Workshop: War Scenarios
5. Challenges for business in fighting Cybercrime: Cyber Assessment and Investigation
6. Cyber awareness and education: Cyber Academy
The event will be the first cybersecurity event organized by the private sector in Azerbaijan, as well as attract international attention. Turkey’s PICUS, SOCRadar, Binalyze, Logsign, Israel’s Cyber Security Group, BSW Global, CyberPro, Cympire, Cywareness, USA’s Qualys. ”, Palo Alto Networks, IBM, CyberArk, Microsoft, as well as a number of other local and international companies will attend at the event.
Although the two-day event at the Fairmont Baku Hotel is by invitation only, anyone interested in cybersecurity will be able to watch the event live on social media platforms.
We believe that such an event will contribute to a more sustainable cybersecurity environment in Azerbaijan, “Prosol” is determined to continue its mission to make our country a regional hub in this area and an example for other countries in the region.
