The Role:
The position will focus on all aspects of post-sales engineering, handling design, implementation, and optimization of solutions; Creating low-level and high-level designs of wireless networks and LAN/WAN that use industry best practices and Cisco hardware specific to Cisco enterprise L3.
Requirements:
Must have 4+ years’ hands-on experience in planning, architecting, implementing, and optimizing enterprise wireless solutions.
Must have at least CCNP R&S and/or Wireless certifications. Cisco CCIE preferred.
Must have experience with logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, VDC, Spanning tree, VFR, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling).
Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TrustSec).
Must have a strong knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Flexible to travel up to 40% mostly local travel, in Dallas area
Nice to haves: Experience with SD-WAN (IWAN, Viptela) implementation and migration; Configuration management of networking devices using automation tools (APIC-EM, Cisco Prime) and API scripting with Python.
Nice to have: Prior experience working for a VAR / Integrator is a plus
